These Kit ‘N’ Caboodle Shims vary in thickness, from wafer thin to substantial thicknesses, giving you ultimate versatility when building your die-cutting sandwiches. The thinnest shim measures 0.03mm in thickness; you can reach a thickness of 1.5mm when all 8 shims are used together!
This gives more customisation than any shim before as you can create the perfect thickness for your exact die in your own machine. As each machine has different tolerances and soft spots, this is truly the best way to customise your die-cutting experience.

The shims can be used anywhere below the die in the sandwich for die-cutting. Place beneath the magnetic shim with the Crossover or, where possible, in between the two thickest plates. The shims are not to be placed over the die because it will cut the shim.
The shims are A4 in size and come in 7 thicknesses: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 190 / 250 (x2) / 350 microns.
